Lettuce Reinterprets Miles Davis In New Live Album “Witches Stew”

first_imgLettuce has released a new live album today, Witches Stew, appropriately on Friday the 13th. The album celebrates the late great Miles Davis, one of Lettuce’s biggest and most beloved influences, in this new release–a nod to his 1970 Bitches Brew. This collection of seven songs, handpicked by the band, was recorded at the 2016 Catskill Chill in Lakewood, PA. Filled with dynamic synths, intoxicating horns, and a psychedelic flare, Witches Stew is crafted to satisfy both jazz fans and Lettuce fans alike. Listen below:The band recently announced a 3-night New Year’s Eve residency at New York City’s Brooklyn Bowl from December 29th – 31st. Tickets are on-sale now. Bulldogs Wrestling Results At EIAC Meet

first_imgAfter postponement and location change the Batesville high school wrestling team traveled to East Central to battle in the EIAC tournament. The bulldogs sent a season high 11 varsity wrestlers to compete in the tournament.Alex Murphy had the highest finish for the team finishing 4th at 106 with two pin fall victories coming against opponents from Connersville and Rushville. Caleb Bischoff-Neise finished 5th at 126 receiving 2 forfeits. Tyler Schaeffer finished 6th at 132 with his lone victory coming by pin fall against Greensburg. Jonah Chase finished 5th picking up 2 wins one a pin fall over a Greensburg opponent and the other being a decision against a Connersville opponent. Vonley Hund made his varsity debut with a 6th place finish at 145 receiving a forfeit on the way. Josh Mobley finished 5th at 152 with 2 pin falls against opponents from Rushville and Connersville. Axel Garcia also finished 5th at 170 with 2 tech falls over the same Franklin County opponent.Abram Garcia continued the trend with a 5th place finish at 195 with a forfeit and a decision against his Greensburg opponent. Brandon Manning rounded out the placers with a 6th place finish picking up a forfeit. Also competing was Jacob Weigel and Chase Hamilton. Batesville finished 7th as a team while East Central won the team Championship.Team Scores: 1. East Central 251.0; 2. Lawrenceburg 241.5; 3. South Dearborn 234.5; 4. Franklin County 138.5;  5. first_img Tags: performance, Steve Robinson 15 Jun 2018 New look for England Golf regional coaching England Golf’s regional coaching system has been revamped to bring greater benefits to talented young players.From September, the U16 and U18 squads will be merged, creating 10 boys’ and 10 girls’ squads. Thomas (tell me again why J.T.’s not in the Hall of Fame?)  Anyway, Mel, J.T., Louis “Lou” Lipps, Randy Grossman, Robin “Big Rob” Cole, the legendary Andy Russell, Mike Wagner, and “The Judge” Dwayne Woodruff will suit up together one more time for a big time charity event to benefit Champion Enterprises’ Safe Summer Programs.  Saturday, March 29 at the magnificent Rivers Casino on the North Shore.
